Well I just found something a little inspiring. The creator of Bingo Card Creator made $42.5K last year (http://www.kalzumeus.com/2010/12/17/bingo-card-creator-etc-year-in-review-2010/)! That doesn't seem so bad. It sells for about $29, so that's about 4 sales a day. Apparently it's pretty popular among teachers and for baby showers.
Another interesting part of the story is how Bingo Card Creator used to be a download app, but he switched it over to a web app and now vows never to do desktop apps again. One of the reasons he cites is the extra time needed for customer support, partly due to installation issues, something that I'm starting to run into a bit with my own Pandali Folder Master download.
But anyway it's great to see a Micro ISV who seems to be doing pretty well with his product!
